Book fair

Some massive inspirational days in Gothenburg. Tons and tons of people, books and inspiration. Shook hands with Camilla Engman who´s blog i have followed for years and with Ingrid Betancourt who´s destiny and whereabouts have affected me alot.
Such a wonderful mess of words, design, paper, text and illustration.
Will post my purchases another day.

Claying

Today has been a super rainy day, so I stayed inside and played with clay which must be the same as claying. Anyhow, I am taking a ceramic course to focus on the clay itself instead of
using it to create a form. It sure is great fun.
Tomorrow I am going to the book fair in Gothenburg. Yay!

September Sunday in the playhouse

Today was one of those great days when the kids played like in a fairytale. Far away from the
Nintendo the made dirt cakes, pine tea and leaf soup. I especially enjoyed the "Spagetthi Mayonnaise"!

Barbie Cake

Last weekends biggest event - except from the workshop - birthday party with treasurehunt. I do however think Barbie looks a little anxious and strikes a warriorpose.

Dottie Angel part 2

Another lovely arty sunday with my friends in a total mess of coffeecups, retrofabrics, lace and inspirational books. I am lucky to be part of an artsclub where we get together and try different materials. In the beginning of the summer we had an apron day inspired by the lovely Dottie Angel and this time we moved on to wallhangings, inspired by the same Dear Mrs D. If you haven´t experienced the world of Dottie, please press here. And if you need a book of endless inspiration, go here. We were very pleased to have a new member of the group, Nanna, who now is six weeks. We feel confident that she will grow up to be a crafter!
