Slow art

Went to Nationalmuseum for the very inspiring exhibition Slow art with

concentration on arts with a long creation process. Amazed.

The whole museum closes in February for a massive restauration so hurry hurry.

Sunny day

 

Still extremely cold outside, -20 this morning.

I am quite tired of it and keep dreaming och sunny beaches and warm winds.

Strong sun anyhow - creating pretty shadows on my curtain. 

Winter weekend

Saturday was -22 here! 

My supergirl of a daughter wanted to go skating and was a true trooper. 

Incredibly beautiful. Extremely cold. 

I took the kick. 

Frames

Rehung (is that a word?!) my pictures on our living room wall and it turned out quite alright.

Snowcrafting

The snow has (un)fourtenately been all wet and nasty but perfect for building! so today we made 

an igloo, a fortress and a couple of treerabbits. 

I could have made one in each tree but eventually it got too dark.

Ginger-bread-art

Every year around Christmas the Arhitectural museum in Stockholm holds this great 

ginger-bread-house competition-exhibition for anyone who is interested in participating. 

Had an immediate urge to bake but settled for some coffee and bought cakes instead. 

Paper workshop

Another lovely weekend with the artgroup. This weekend with concentration on paper and champagne! We took some inspiration from this lovely book that I found in Brooklyn.
